Promoting Personal Artwork
As I explore exposing of my artwork, I have been extending my network trying different marketing approaches beyond the social media level with “traditional print.” Print still lives, I have a Bachelors in Print & Graphic Media Management from Ferris State University.
As the ultimate brand experimenter, I pass about 30 business cards per week in different cities around Michigan. Networking with like-minded designers and artists in Grand Rapids, musicians and producers in Metro Detroit and industry leaders at conventions in surrounding states.
I pass business cards, pluggers, flyers and postcards around the Ferris State University campus. This is collectively my 20th different business card design this year. I try to change it up a knotch. I design my own personal cards – so it doesn’t cost anything to try something new. Besides, I like fresh new designs especially sexy ones.
As you can tell from this plugger, I am an abstract artist – I like trippy effects using Interactive Media.
