( REPOST ) Happy Independence Day 🇮🇩🇮🇩There was a time of my life when I thought I would never leave Indonesia. The island of the gods. More than 1700 islands make up Indonesia, each one of them has its own language. most common is Bahasa. I lived for one year in #BaliIndonesia 🇮🇩 I set a goal to live in another country for a year, I was served a Facebook advertisement and I booked a flight after packing my things into storage two weeks later. I had a job opportunity with a publishing company in Michigan, one of the largest companies. After two weeks of living on the island, I denied the job offer. I decided Im sticking around ..I had my ups and downs and was also battling my own body to become medication free. After moving to Indonesia, I set up a co-working space and became holistic.

The fight was rough, if there was a thunderstorm then you don’t have Internet for six hours or however long it takes until it comes back. No matter what, there’s no Internet, I had to learn how to sit down and be cool. I had to evaporate everything around me ❤️ there isn’t the most advanced medical attention in southeast Asia, and we can argue about that. However in my situation, if something happened to me, I had to fly to Australia or America to seek health attention. And correct me if I’m wrong because I’ve already done it. There is not enough medicine doctors on that side of the world that can care for my condition.😅 I drink coconuts, attended ceremonies, traveled to the volcano irrupt Ing and still thought there was more to my life than what was in front of me.

I let other people guide me, the guys were moving me One Direction and I wanted to go to the other direction. But we have a saying, “when Bali gives you signs. “💎💎 I changed my habits, became medication free, worked with clients that inspired me and also taught entrepreneurs and business professionals in Coworking spaces and conferences as the keynote speaker. I was so on a good one for an entire year straight. I went back to #Bali six more times after that. #balibabe

Home isn’t always four walls

People have been asking me why I’m struggling so much with finding a place of peace. The answer isn’t simple, but it is honest. For the past several weeks, my home has been campgrounds, fairgrounds, church parking lots, travel centers, rest stops, and wherever I can safely park for the night. If you had told [...]
