My First Art Space

There was a time when I was doing things on the fly… Life was moving so fast that my feet weren’t touching the ground. 💯 I spent 10 hours in the coworking space so I could slay in the art gallery until the sun came up. My first art space was in @artestudiomedellin where I met Alejandro by chance… I was walking on Calle Diaz towards the park for a coffee. A thunderstorm came out of nowhere… And he took cover for me until the awning. This was the day that my whole life changed; I opened my first gallery in Medellin, Colombia. 💕❤️

Since then, I’ve hosted three abstract galleries in Colombia with showcase visits in Bogota & Cartagena. 🇨🇴 How crazy… I met so many incredible people. This painting was designed for a friend who came to my hometown every year on his birthday; which falls in techno week. Fate? It’s possible, but the fact that I used my fingers, three colors, and one cup of water to knock this beauty out. Wow, gorgeous skyline right? I painted the cityscape by memory and from the heart. #detroitcity follow my personal @missydi #lifeofmissydi
