When you do things from the heart, you will be rewarded. Sometimes it takes a little bit of extra push to demand what you need. I’ve been learning major tough lessons and how to stand up for myself. I’ve also realized that, I shouldn’t be so accessible. Because I had to put Art in the backseat, I’m no longer able to get up each day and create until the sun comes down. My studio is closed, my art showcase has finished its residency and now I’m only accepting murals here and there. It was a great time and journey to make all of the artwork for the galleries in Miami.
I’ve been painting since I was five, and I spend one to two hours every day on my passion. What makes it difficult about pursuing a full-time career in art, is the cost to create. Art supplies have gone up tremendously and many places do not have any shipments coming because of the pandemic. I’m going to do my best for whatever the world wants to bring me. I know I’m strong enough to get through any challenge because God chose me.
