Enjoy a sophisticated cocktail with a view at the Loopy Doopy rooftop! While I was conducting my research of best rooftops, I came across a well known drink that is infused as a popsicle cocktail. Everyone was raving about this on social media, so I knew that I had to try it!
I traveled to the top of the Conrad Hotel where I was greeted by Michelle – a smiling waitress who was quick on her feet and found me a table to sit. I met two girls who were also enjoying a cocktail while sharing the table. They were sisters – all smiling! It was nice to see this moment happen for them as they haven’t seen each other in a long while!
Couches and chairs were along the rail and tables for 3 or 4 parties were in the middle. There was a bar in the corner to order a drink or you could wait for the staff at your table. My favorite was the view – you could not catch the Hudson River so perfectly anywhere else!
I ordered the popsicle infused with alcohol and placed in a glass of Prosecco. Wow! Talk about a cool creation.. it was divine!
Look at how intense everyone is staring at the bartenders! 😳 😳
As I watched the sunset go down, just the right amount of orange was between two buildings to leave an impression on my heart. There are moments that you know you will never forget. I was never going to forget this sight.. the beautiful view of the river and all of the ambience around me.
I am not sure what I was staring at.. but this is the only photo that I have of myself and the view! 😀
This is my favorite shot of the WHOLE night.. Look at the colors reflecting off the buildings and the boat passing by in the Hudson River. Wow.
PROS: Could not ask for a better sunset in all of Manhattan. The popsicle cocktails were a HIT!
CONS: Small space, had to walk up stairs, and was required to RSVP because the space was packed.
I recommend Loopy Doopy for one or two drinks to enjoy the sunset with a colleague or friends. Try to grab a seat near the view of the river and make due of your time so you don’t wait long for a drink.
