I am STOKED to be a featured artist for #ARTBASEL 2018 Oh my!! What a dream to paint during this international event! With that being said – the dream is costing me a fortune for travel, housing and securing my artist supplies. see you — I see all of you – using other accounts to visit my Instagram stories, having your people check on me.. You know exactly WHO you are.. and why you are doing what you are doing. But the moment that I realized you were not a good person or business for me, I dropped your ass.. and I won’t delete you or block you – because I want YOU to SEE me. I want you to remember that I was the one to put you there – how incredible I was in your world and how much of an idiot you are for using, abusing and treating my talents like they were absolutely nothing – second guessing everything I said and dismissing any creative idea that came on the table. And now asking for my help, again? You’re crazy — I’m a Detroiter.. fool me once… you don’t fool me again. Now, I am free from all that bull shit.. and I’m moving on — as I always do because Im a power house that doesn’t let bad energy or bad people make a bad day. Now that my brand is the first focus — I’m being invited all over the USA for my art talents and I am so thankful that other people finally SEE me for my real talent and how hard that I work. It’s too bad that I can’t see people before they take advantage of me.. but that’s the game of life.. you have to prepare yourself for the worst but expect the best. #donttouchme

When Miami is on the mind #gypsylife – this is my final post until I’m free of preparing my new career change… managing a music producer & recently starting to pick up my live painting tour. Pretty soon a collaborative showcase will be coming where my selected artists are painting live during techno or deep house music — We are in contact with many venues in Bogota & Cartagenaa… it’s like OH M!Y! – how is this happening so fast, but I am very specific about my art @missydi_artist – and even more specific about my music @di.techno 😉 wish me luck for #artbasel – preparing the flights – brand endorsements – interviews – follow ups – I actually appreciate that my phone has been lost or dead battery for half the day.. I even had to shut it off for three hours today. Demand is high but my focus is strong >> I even called the family back home – priorities are easy if you have the right mindset.
