This particular painting of Chicago Abstract Art wasn’t exactly what I thought was going to look like…
I started with soft yellows & orange colors to add the first layer of acrylic paint.
I added more layers to the Chicago abstract painting for details of the building.
The background is always my favorite. However, I am beginning to adopt creating the background first in more paintings to come.
Downtown Chicago is beginning to come together nicely! I always have a movie/music or something in the background to keep my mind occupied on working for a long period of time.
The colors bring out the cityscape so lively.
What do you think about the end result of my abstract portrait of Chicago?
