Hosted a wonderful #artistshowcase in @greatlakescoffee in Midtown, Detroit featuring my #abstract collections. 👄 Feedback was beautiful, I posted my story on the wall so others could read about my condition and roots of the city. I sold a few paintings and gave many away.. I would rather brighten up someone’s home with one of my energetic masterpiece; than to earn a dollar. But its the true artist form? To pour your entire heart into something, and hope you gain in return. The point is not to gain; the objective is to influence.
There are so many times where I sit and hold my tongue; because if I didn’t — it would complicate a lot of things. Artists cant always act like they are right, but we already know there’s more beyond our capabilities. We are meant to show people how to feel and escape reality with art and color… 👄👄👄 Moving you from one end of the room to the other with art. Stay posted, we may have more art to come.
