Paint Party – Detroit Edition

Last night, my friend Christine allowed myself and our good friend, Jess to host a painting party! A painting party is typically when you go to one of those “Painting with a Twist” type of businesses where you paint and drink wine / beverages. Well this was a special edition because Im an artist — so I could be their teacher.

We aligned our 11 x 14 canvases in the kitchen — set up our palettes and began to creative a beautiful skyline of Detroit. This was the most inspiring art session I’ve compiled with friends. It has been so long since I’ve painted with other people – I miss it!

We finished our paintings in less than an hour — jamming to music, having a great time and getting to know each other better.
