Before we got to the yacht, I drank a few glasses of wine at Gallow Green; a rooftop in Manhattan. The rain was pouring hard, after I just finished dinner at David Burke Kitchen and I needed something to calm my nerves.
We took an UBER to the Pier and walked to the platform. The entrance was so steep that I couldn’t make it onto the boat without some assistance. I had two gentlemen assistance with a wheelchair to cart me on the yacht — this just proves, yet again, that you can still do things when you have differences. All it takes is a smile and asking for help.
