I never planned to become a โglobal creator.. it
just happened” – BEQ.
I started with paint and brushes, searching for a way to express what words could never quite hold. It began quietly โ long hours in my studio, the smell of acrylics, music pulsing in my headphones. Painting was my refuge and my release.
But art doesnโt stay silent for long.
It spills out, demanding to be seen. Mine eventually grew beyond canvas edges, onto city walls, into festival crowds, and across stages around the world. From Detroitโs streets to Baliโs beaches, from Medellรญnโs colorful barrios to Miamiโs buzzing art scene โ my art found its way into spaces I never imagined.
Stepping Into Leadership
Leadership wasnโt a title I gave myself โ itโs something I stepped into because I had to.
When doors were closed, I painted new ones. When venues said no, I created my own. I built my own art festival in Detroit, secured sponsors, managed media coverage, and made sure it was accessible for everyone, regardless of ability.
I learned that being a leader wasnโt just about visibility โ it was about responsibility.
People were watching. People were believing. And that meant everything I did needed to carry purpose and care.
Becoming a Global Voice
Travel changed me.

Iโve painted in 38 countries, each one adding layers to my understanding of humanity. Art became my passport. Language barriers faded the moment color hit a wall or a canvas. People from different cultures connected with my work because they saw themselves in it โ in the energy, the movement, the emotion.
As a uniquely abled artist, I bring a perspective thatโs often left out. I know what itโs like to navigate spaces that werenโt built for me. Thatโs why I fight to make sure my work โ and the experiences I build around it โ are accessible to everyone.

Creating for Access, Not Just Art
Iโve always believed art should be an invitation, not an exclusion.
Thatโs why I design every event, mural, and streaming session with accessibility in mind. From adaptive tools to ADA-compliant event guidelines, to streaming art live for those who canโt physically attend โ Iโm committed to ensuring everyone can experience creativity firsthand.
Closing
Art is more than color on canvas. Itโs a catalyst for connection, change, and courage.
Iโm not just here to paint pretty pictures. Iโm here to build a world where everyone feels seen, valued, and inspired to create their own masterpiece.
This is what makes me a creator โ and a leader.
