The store is located in the heart of Downtown Petoskey on Mitchell Street. Mitchell Street Frameworks has an opening in the middle of the store that leads to the crafts store filled with art supplies.
I was pleasantly greeted by Lisa, customer service staff member for Mitchell Street Frameworks, who assists with business development. Lisa is an expert on framing art or photograph pieces. She shared her knowledge on what the best tactics for framing at a reasonable rate. She assisted in using mat board to compliment a few of my art pieces that were sized 12″x16″ which is quite the odd size. But she was able to offer alternatives such as corner pieces that stuck on the mat board to hold the piece. FInally, a clear cover slid over the top to preserve the color.
