After the fabulous vintage car & boat show down Main Street in Bay Harbor, our appetites were craving a good meal. I flipped open my Foursquare, social media platform to search nearby businesses, to find the perfect restaurant ‘Knot Just A Bar”. This restaurant had a high rating from users on the Foursquare app. As a social media guru, myself, I wanted to go where the buzz was moving – the people were talking.

The wait was about 20 minutes, but who blames them? The line was out the door with seating on the inside and the outside. I wouldn’t want to miss a view from the harbor that showed off all the nice wooden boats. We walked up to the bar to grab a drink while we waited for our table. The mixed drinks ranged from an average of $8.50 for a spritzer or Bloody Mary.
As you look around the restaurant, there were nifty finds. Random trinkets hung from the walls, a giant rope looped around the board & oddly names were covered from wall to wall using cut vinyl decals. I wondered how those names were started, I was curious to have mine on the ceiling too. Of course right, any outlet to advertise my name, DiVietri, a brand.. to random friends who were also enjoying their time at ‘Knot Just A Bar.’
I ordered the delicious Baked Tuscan Sandwich, which included:
Genoa, Ham, Capicola
Provolone and Pepperoncini
On a Ciabatta Roll with Sundried
Tomato Aioli, Lettuce
Tomato and Onion 9.99
I rate 10/10 for great customer service, delicious food & a fun atmosphere, especially to people watch.
My sandwich had an incredible taste, well worth the 20 minute wait to be seated. After all, it was a busy day in Bay Harbor ;]
