Caught a little bit of self-care & self reflection while I am on my journey πŸš— πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»shout out to the epic salon that was open late night

– i had to get my nails β€˜did’ so I can flip people off properly lmaoooo

No, I save that energy for the mind games instead. And flicking my eye lashes πŸ‘€

ive been learning so much about myself during this journey from Detroit to Miami. I decided that I can’t plan anymore because the weather will change or something with the car.

Bad energy tends to leak its way in; always!! I have to learn to live on the road, on the fly. Planning is out the window now. With inclement weather and things out of my control, I’ve lost three Airbnbβ€˜s and one hotel room. Which resorted for purchasing two more hotel rooms along the way. I’m not even going to start the refund process until I’ve landed somewhere where I can handle the manipulation of customer service. I think 50% is fair, especially during the pandemic when everyone is hurting. Besides what are the REAL refund policies anyways? Maybe I’m entitled to more but I’m not gonna say goodbye to $700 because of situations on the road. I’d rather be safe than sorry, is what we say!

I hope to land my booty in Miami within the next 72 hours. My body can’t handle this long drive.. so close yet almost there.

I’m taking CBD baths each night, tiger balm from Thailand; coconut water.. ice / heat repeat. Im holistic also πŸ™†πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

πŸ’¨πŸ’¨πŸ’¨πŸ’¨oh yeah ; and what feels like a quarter of tree every day.. πŸ’¨πŸ’¨πŸ’¨ pain management is quite a challenge when you’re a solo traveler with a disability.
Most people may not be able to handle, but I’ve only relied on myself throughout my whole life. If you don’t want to deal, I’ll be holding the door for you to watch you walk out.

Home isn’t always four walls

People have been asking me why I’m struggling so much with finding a place of peace. The answer isn’t simple, but it is honest. For the past several weeks, my home has been campgrounds, fairgrounds, church parking lots, travel centers, rest stops, and wherever I can safely park for the night. If you had told [...]
