How To Use The New Features From SnapChat
Stickers, Video, Audio Calls and Notes Provide More Robust Interaction
What is Snapchat? Snapchat is a social media application that is only operated using a smartphone device. You can enjoy face to face conversation by taking photos or recording video to this social network. Social media is constantly changing and adapting to how people communicate. SnapChat has adapted to how we text, call and video chat – they rolled out new features that is getting everyone excited!
Unlike other video services, you can send text and photos during a video chat, including some unique stickers.
Let’s check out the new features with the Snapchat 2.0 update:
1. Open The Chat Function
Swipe right over the person in your friend list that you want to chat with.
2. Notice the NEW icons available
Look at the new options available – there is a photo album icon, phone icon, circle to send a private snappy, video icon or smiley face. Press The Smiley Face.
3. Scroll Through The Options Of Different Smileys
There are many, many options to choose from — a little bit too cheesy for me 😉 I don’t see having a conversation with these smileys. Maybe add Gifs or MeMes
4. Select your unique smiley.
Choose from the different smileys for the right one! It automatically populates in the chat feed.
5. Let’s try the photo album icon.
Select the icon and your photos will appear. Press the one that you want and click the blue arrow.
6. Let’s send a quick pic in real time
Now give the circle button in the middle a press. I’ve snapped a photo & added text. Smile, its your turn!
7. Video Time!
Go back to the chat with your friend. Select the video chat icon to start a call with your friend! Your friend can ignore, join or watch… haha interesting!
I am already enjoying the new features to the SnapChat update. I cannot wait to try them out with friends to increase my communication with them! This is how we chat these days – I’m glad to see a social media network taking advantage of adapting to technology! Add me on Snapchat – @missydi < www.snapchat.com/add/missydi
