There’s something powerful about freezing a moment — not for likes, not for filters, not for anyone else — but for you. A selfie can be a time stamp, a declaration, or even a silent reminder: I showed up today.
Maybe I’m in the middle of chaos, with paint still smudged on my hands from hours in the studio. Maybe the lighting isn’t perfect, my hair’s gone rogue, or my wheelchair wheels need a quick wipe-down from the streets. But that’s the beauty — authenticity over perfection.
Every “Selfie of the Day” is a snapshot of the journey I’m on — the messy, beautiful, unapologetically real one. It’s my way of saying: Here I am. Still going. Still creating. Still living.
Today’s selfie? A little tired, a little fierce, a lot grateful.
Tomorrow’s? Who knows. But it’ll be me — all of me — again.
