Wow! A ride on a helicopter in New York City is the craziest adventure that I’ve had so far in Manhattan… and believe, me – I’ve done some crazy things the last couple of days. My hotel staff thinks I’m so cool because I’m boom, boom, boom – on the go constantly. This place, that place — uptown / downtown.

New York City Helicopter Ride – Ready for Take-Off!
What a rush — diving into the clouds of Manhattan with a group of new friends from Scandinavia. This 20 minute session was a once in a lifetime opportunity. It was our pilot’s last day on the job – he is moving to Hawaii! He sounds really excited about it. He did make me nervous with the nose dives.. and I almost fainted when he said barrel role dives (?) or something. He was laughing so hard — great time, great guy.
I highly recommend Liberty Helicopter.. and here’s why!
- The view was phenomenal… breath-taking.. couldn’t have picked a better day!
- It was a very easy process – you arrive, check in, watch a demonstration video and up you go!
- He gave us a personal tour the entire time.. I never knew so much about NYC before!
