Today is #InternationalDayOfPeopleWithDisabilities, a day that feels less like an event and more like a reminder of the journey we live every single day.
I was born with sacral agenesis, shaped by 19 surgeries, strengthened through 38 countries traveled, and refined by challenges that would have stopped a lot of people in their tracks. I’ve faced chronic pain, overwhelming seasons of mental illness, and moments where the world felt heavy enough to fold me — but I still get up to rise.
🌹
I’ve always believed God gave me this body for a reason. Not as a setback, but as a platform — a way to give voice to the voiceless, to break barriers that were never meant to define us, and to leave a positive imprint wherever my wheels or wings carry me.
To my disability community: your strength is quiet but powerful, steady but fierce.
To the allies walking beside us: keep choosing access, compassion, and dignity as part of your everyday practice.
Here’s to resilience that whispers instead of shouts, to paths carved with intention,
and to showing the world that impact isn’t measured by ease — but by endurance.
💙♿️✨🌹
