Traveling to New York City with my partner was a dream come true. We both had so much to look forward to, but nothing compared to seeing my artwork come to life on the iconic Times Square billboards. It was an unforgettable moment of pride and excitement, standing in the heart of the city, surrounded by the bright lights, massive screens, and the energy of the crowd.
As a differently-abled creator, the experience of having my work displayed on such a grand scale meant the world to me. Every brushstroke, every color choice, every piece of art I’ve poured my soul into was now a part of the vibrant energy of Times Square. It’s one thing to create art, but to see it reach the world in such a public, immersive space? There are truly no words.
The Immersive Gallery was another highlight of our trip, offering a space where art and technology collide. I was honored to showcase my creations in this dynamic environment, giving visitors a chance to experience my work in a whole new way. The energy in the gallery was electric, with everyone buzzing about the powerful combination of art, digital space, and innovation.
In addition to these incredible experiences, I had the privilege of speaking on a standing-room-only panel at NFT NYC. The discussion was centered on how to launch a blockchain, and I shared my journey with others in the NFT space, offering insights on what it takes to bring your project to life. As someone who thrives on turning challenges into opportunities, being able to speak to a global audience about blockchain technology felt like an empowering milestone. The panel was filled with energy and excitement, and I loved connecting with fellow creators and innovators.
For me, every moment of this trip was about independence and embracing the life I’ve built. As a differently-abled artist, I’ve always believed in the power of resilience, creativity, and faith. Traveling to Times Square and participating in NFT NYC wasn’t just about achieving a personal milestone—it was about showing the world that accessibility, art, and technology can coexist beautifully. I’ve spent my life learning how to adapt, to push boundaries, and to turn obstacles into stepping stones.
I want to encourage everyone, no matter what limitations you may face, to never let those define who you are or what you can achieve. Embrace your journey, step into the light, and let your creativity shine. The world is waiting for you, and there’s always room for your story.
