I created these three pieces in Miami during Art Basel.. One of the pieces was gifted to House Music – Justin; my homeboy from the hostel. We literally co-work everyday. Miss the shit out you babe! He taught me a valuable lesson about comparing myself.

A lesson that I will never forget – We sat in Parque Lleras; the tourist trap of Medellin for all the “things” and I dont need to name em!

Any who- I would get frustrated on how easy it was for Colombian escorts to pick up the hottie tottie tourists. We went on for hours about it.. His advice was simple; ‘they have to do this, every day / every night – they choose to live this way. And go home to their barrio, comuna, penthouse, hotel room – whatever to pay for their kids / family.”

but my life is flooded with opportunities to travel and work on my own dime and not be required to work that way.

I cant explain how many nights i laid up thinking about his words.. Over and over.

I cant blame anyone for being the way they are – Im not jealous anymore. There’s no comparison when youre on your own journey. And you cant judge a book by its cover. #realtalk
