🚗✨ These past few months, I’ve been all over Michigan — visiting accessibility dealerships, walking the floor at conference centers, and meeting face-to-face with people who know these vehicles inside and out. I needed to try everything for myself before making a decision that’s going to impact my independence for years to come.
♿ After testing different ramp styles, I’m going with a rear entry. For me, it’s simple — I can roll in and roll out without worrying about someone parking too close and blocking a side ramp. That’s freedom I can count on.
🎤🎨 This isn’t just about convenience — it’s about having the ability to get to my conferences, festivals, and speaking engagements without barriers. It’s about showing up ready to paint with children who have disabilities — or as I like to call them, unique abilities — because that’s our superpower.
🚙💫 I’m leaning toward a sleek SUV because accessibility can be functional and look good. I want something that reflects my personality: bold, stylish, and built for the way I live.
Next step ➡️ custom build. My ride, my rules, my freedom.
