About the Author
Melissa DiVietri is a uniquely abled author, abstract artist, advocate, and speaker who has navigated life with a physical disability since birth. She uses a wheelchair, scooter, and forearm crutches to move through the world, but she has never allowed mobility limitations to define her purpose.
Through her books, artwork, advocacy, and public speaking, Melissa creates conversations around accessibility, disability etiquette, service animal awareness, self-love, and inclusion. Her work is rooted in lived experience and a deep belief that education can create more welcoming spaces for everyone.
